General Rental Conditions

The purpose of these general conditions is to define the terms of reservation, payment, occupation and cancellation in the context of short-term rental of the properties presented on our site.

 

1. Reservation

• The reservation becomes firm upon receipt of payment (deposit or full payment depending on the case).

• The tenant acknowledges having read the characteristics of the property.

 

2. Payment

• A deposit of [30% to be personalized] is required upon reservation.

• The balance is due [7 days before arrival / upon arrival].

 

3. Security deposit

• A security deposit of [€300 to €1,000 depending on the property] may be required. It will be returned within 7 days of departure, less any damage or costs.

 

4. Cancellation

• Any cancellation must be notified in writing (email or form).

5. Responsibility

• The owner cannot be held responsible in the event of theft, accident or damage occurring in the accommodation during the stay.

 

6. Dispute Resolution

• Any dispute relating to the execution or interpretation of the contract falls under the jurisdiction of the French courts.

• In the event of a dispute, amicable mediation will be attempted before any legal action.

 

7. Assurance

• The tenant is invited to take out holiday insurance covering damage caused to the accommodation.
